You must be at least 13 years old to use FishForward. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. Crews, Open Seats, Private Groups and prize competitions are only for users 18 and older. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
FishForward provides fishing information such as weather, marine and buoy conditions, activity trends, Fishing Plans, maps, access points, ice information and navigation tools. This information comes from many sources, may be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and is for general planning only.
You keep ownership of the photos, posts, catches, comments, messages and other content you submit ("your content"). You give FishForward a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and share your content as needed to operate, promote and improve FishForward, in line with the privacy settings you choose. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with others (for example, in a group or on a competition leaderboard) or kept for legal reasons.
You confirm that you have the rights to the content you post and that it does not break these Terms or any law.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. You can report content and block users in the app.
Crews, Open Seats and Private Groups help anglers connect. FishForward does not check people's identity, boats, licenses or skills, and is not a party to any trip. If you meet someone or go on a trip arranged through FishForward, you do so at your own risk. Meet in public places, tell someone your plans, and use your own judgment. Any cost sharing is between you and the other people; FishForward does not process payments between users.
Charter captains, tackle shops and fishing stores on FishForward are independent businesses. They are responsible for their listings, prices, products, trips, licenses, insurance and customer service. Purchases from a store's website, bookings and orders are agreements between you and that business. FishForward is not the seller and is not responsible for their products or services. Marketplace listings between users are also agreements between those users.
FishForward competitions are free to enter; no purchase or subscription is required to enter or win. Each competition has its own official rules shown in the app, which apply in addition to these Terms. Public catches that meet the rules may be entered automatically, and you can keep any catch out of competitions. FishForward reviews results before prizes are awarded and may reject entries or disqualify anyone who cheats, edits photos, re-uses old catches or breaks fishing laws. Prizes are provided as described in each competition; sponsored prizes are provided by the named sponsor and may be taxable. Google is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, any FishForward competition.
Fishing Points. You earn Fishing Points for fishing activity, catches, community participation and competition results, within daily limits shown in the app. Your Reputation is the total of every Fishing Point you have ever earned; it never expires and is not reduced when you redeem points, and it sets your angler level. Fishing Points are a loyalty feature only: they have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and are not your property. Pro and Business Pro members earn points at the same rate as everyone else. FishForward may correct points earned by mistake or through abuse, and may change how points are earned or the rewards available.
Rewards. When the rewards store is available, you may redeem Fishing Points for the rewards listed in the app, while supplies last. Redeemed points are not returned. Reward codes are for one use, may expire, cannot be resold, and have no cash value. Tackle-shop discounts are honored by participating shops, which provide the discount at their own expense under each reward's terms (for example, a minimum purchase). FishForward is not responsible for a shop's products or service. If FishForward ends the points program, we will give reasonable notice in the app before unredeemed points expire.
FishForward shows information and links from other sources, such as public fishing reports, weather and buoy data, maps, and Wikipedia/Wikimedia content. We do not control those sources and are not responsible for their accuracy or content. Third-party services you use (such as Google Play) have their own terms.
FishForward, its logo, design, software and content we create belong to FishForward LLC and are protected by law. You may use the app for your personal, non-commercial use (or, for business accounts, to run your business on FishForward) as allowed by these Terms.
You can delete your account at any time from Privacy & Data in the app. We may suspend or end access to FishForward if you break these Terms or if needed to protect users or the service. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel it in Google Play.
FishForward is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the app will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or that you will catch fish.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, FishForward LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any injury, property damage, or loss related to fishing, boating, ice, weather, trips, meetups, or dealings with other users or businesses. Our total liability for any claim related to FishForward is limited to the greater of the amount you paid FishForward in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
You agree to defend and hold harmless FishForward LLC from claims arising from your content, your use of FishForward, or your breaking these Terms or the law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use FishForward after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
